Ingredients:

1 egg

2 cups of flour

3/4 cup of butter at room temperature

1 1/4 cups of Multipack® Muscovado Brown Sugar

1/2 tsp of ground ginger

1/2 tsp of cinnamon

2 tsp of baking soda

A pinch of salt

Recipe:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, and cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat the egg, then add it to the butter mixture. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients and mix until a uniform dough forms.
  4. Cover and refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them 2 cm apart.
  6. Bake on parchment paper in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) until the edges start to darken (about 10 minutes).
